Happy Valentines to all you Ford Lovers!!

It is once again time to get your membership renewed!! Memberships will expire on March 31/08 and since we don’t want to lose you…take the time now to get your membership form completed and in to Craig!

Rick Funk is currently seeking input from members in order to get some fun events planned for us to attend…so if you have any ideas please forward them along to him! We are having the first ever AMOA Coffee Social – at TIM HORTONS on 51 avenue and 111 street (across from Southgate Mall) on Sunday, March 9th starting at 2:00 until 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. This event is open to all club members / families and friends. Please contact Rick Funk at 450-9619 or email funkster06@shaw.ca for more details.

Like membership renewals, Powerama is also quickly approaching, 2008 April 18 - 20…so if we would like to have Club display, we need someone to volunteer to get our group organized and get our group display application submitted! I’ve heard from a coupe of members that they are interested, but we need someone to “lead the charge”, so if you would like to head up a Club display or are interested in putting your car in a Club display, please let me know ASAP!!

Also, the International Winter Meeting will be March 15, 2008 in Calgary at the Ambassador Motor Inn, so if you have any questions/concerns etc. that you would like answered at the meeting, please get them to one of our International Reps, Craig Shanley or Johnny Plaizier, so they can bring them to the meeting in March. Any member can attend the meeting, but our reps must be the ones to speak on our behalf. For those not attending, we will have an update of what transpires at our AMOA general meeting on March 17th!

Well I guess that’s about it for now…take care, play safe and try to keep warm…who knew it got this freakin cold here in Alberta??? Bring on SPRING!!
